Operations Technical Supervisor

As part of our ‘One Town, One Team’ approach, InnServices Utilities Inc. is the exciting new company created by the Town of Innisfil to deliver water and wastewater services to Innisfil and other municipalities.

A member of a collaborative and innovative team, you will work in an environment that focuses on service excellence and environmental stewardship. Working under the direction of the Manager, Utilities Operations, you will be responsible for supervising and assisting with the oversight of the field operations of the water distribution systems and wastewater collection systems which includes the areas of construction, maintenance, service, dispatching and project coordination.

You will ensure compliance with all InnServices and applicable regulatory rules, regulations, and policies when executing projects/tasks, as well as prepare, implement and monitor adherence to maintenance plans and schedules and prepare reports on maintenance activities for water and wastewater.

We are seeking a dedicated and driven self-starter who thrives working in a collaborative environment, understands the merits of high safety standards, demonstrated strong leadership and interpersonal skills, and a strong sense of community. Your post-secondary education in Civil Engineering or related field is complemented by three (3) to five (5) years engineering experience, preferably in utilities services with a minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of supervisory experience in a unionized environment. You must possess or be eligible for P.Eng or CET designation, and working towards attaining Class IV water distribution and Class II Wastewater collection certification. Minimum OIT’s are required or must be able to obtain OIT within 4 months.
