CIMA+ is seeking a Project Technologist for our Kitchener office with experience and interest in water infrastructure projects including drinking water treatment, supply, storage and distribution.   • Prepare technical reports including inspections and condition assessments, asset management, health and safety, environmental assessments and detailed design reports


  • Prepare detailed design calculations and layouts
  • Develop detailed design documents including technical drawings, specifications and contract documents
  • Maintain project planning documentation for design and engineering services including work procedures and cost control processes


  • Construction management activities including on-site inspections, construction oversight, and contract administration


  • Participate in business development including the preparation of proposals and liaise with clients.


  • Other duties as assigned


  • Diploma in Civil Engineering with a Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) designation
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the design of water infrastructure projects
  • Strong technical report writing and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of relevant engineering design standards, codes and manuals, best practice guidelines, standard construction specifications, engineering drawing standards, and regulatory and permitting requirements
  • Self-starter, attention to details and ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
